Chang Ching-kuei(張經魁) Born in Kiangsu Province, China in 1941, he flew to Taiwan from Shanghai with his father during the Chinese Civil War when he was 8. Echoing Hsiang Ling-sheng’s "anti-corruption, anti-privilege, and opposition to judicial intervention in politics" slogan, he was involved in the "Hsiang Ling-sheng and other cases" when he was in the military academy and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. In prison, as he was good at plumbing and electrical, he served as a prison day-time labor. After being released in 1965, he established many companies over there decades. After travel ban between the Taiwan Strait was lifted in 1987, he and his father brought his mother to Taiwan from Kiangsu for reunion. He has been elected Taichung and Nantou councilors. Chang is now running a cultural park in Cao tun.

Chiu Yi-feng(邱一峰) Originally named Chiu Wai-lai. Born in Yilan in 1940, he once served as a prison warden. When he was in the Navy, he was accused of discussing the plot of the movie " Mutiny on the Bounty” with colleagues. He was arrested for getting involved in the “Navy ship Li-jiang, Chiu Wan-lai and others case” and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He appealed and was sentenced to death in the second trial, appeals again and was sentenced to life imprisonment in the third instance. In 1975, due to the death of Chiang Kai-shek, his sentence was reduced to 15 years and he was released in 1978. He continued to participate in opposition political movements and elected Neighborhood representative. He believes that transitional justice should also hold the perpetrators accountable, and hopes that Taiwanese people will not forget the efforts of their predecessors who had risked their lives to cross the Taiwan Strait to Taiwan.

While being imprisoned in the Green Island “New Life Correction Center”, he was elected as a “mess council member”, and was involved in the "Green Island Re-rebellion Case", Although he was eventually proved to be innocent, he was badly tortured and starved during the interrogation. After being released in 1960, he devoted himself to his family business and never mentioned his experience in prison. It wasn't until his 85th birthday that he solemnly told his family and younger people about his suffering those 10 years.

曾勝賢口述歷史短片

1944年出生於屏東,為減輕家中負擔,就讀軍法學校,畢業後曾到警備總部軍法處實習,隨後擔任軍法官、代理書記官。 因認真研究政治案件,以及朋友涉案,他在1971年被捕,被判處五年有期徒刑。判刑後被關押到景美的警備總部軍法處看守所,是他曾經求學、實習的所在地。 1975年因蔣介石逝世,減刑為三年四個月並出獄,出獄後卻被跟監近二十年,失去軍法官資格,轉而擔任地政士代書,以及太太撐起家計度過生活難關。
