本紀錄片旨在紀錄「2020年國家工藝成就獎」得獎者－陳啟村先生的木雕創作人生。片中描述陳工藝師之生平、學習經歷、創作歷程及對於工藝的具體成就等等，讓社會大眾對於陳工藝師有更多的認識。
陳啟村工藝師自14歲起即投入該項工藝之學習，進而成為福州派雕刻技法代表性之匠師，獲2019年文化部傳統木雕重要匠師保存者登錄，2020年獲頒國家工藝成就獎。
This documentary aims to record the Winner of the 2020 National Crafts Achievement Award, Chen, Chi-Tsun’ wood carving life. Chen’s life story, learning experiences, creative processes and the crafts achievements are included in the film which provides more introductions toward Chen’s accomplishment.
Chen, Chi-Tsun started his crafts career at the age of 14, and he became a representative of Fuzhou School in sculpture. Also, he was recorded as an important traditional wood carving artisan by the Ministry of Culture in 2019 and has been awarded the 2020 National Crafts Achievement Award.
